No, this picture has nothing to do with this post. but it's pretty and I think there should be a picture.
I believe I have said once or twice that I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions. And it’s a bit late for that, seeing as it’s already January 11th. A friend of mine told me that she was making a bucket list for 2011 and I quite liked the idea, so I’m borrowing it. Since it’s the 11th, I thought it would be appropriate to share with you today. Here are my eleven things that I’m determined to do in 2011. Hopefully, I’ll be able to check them all off.
1. Cook a souffle. Successfully.
2. Go to the Opera and the ballet.
3. Take a trip somewhere I’ve never been.
4. Learn to do something crafty, like knitting.
5. Write a 500th post for What Happens After Five.
6. Try a new food.
7. Make a snow angel, for old times sake.
8. Go to a Michelin starred restaurant.
9. Stand on the Brooklyn Bridge and watch the sunrise.
10. Take a knife skills class.
11. Do something that is so quintessentially New York that I’ll never possibly be able to do it again.
