My roommate loves cheese. More than anyone I’ve ever met. I actually find it a bit odd. Her birthday is at the end of the month. I was debating what to get her when I saw a sale on Gilt City for The Big Cheesy – a grilled cheese tasting at a gallery in Nolita. I knew that she’d love it. We went this weekend and it was so much fun. There were great chefs there and everyone got to vote on their favorite grilled cheese. Sadly, we didn’t get to see the winner (we had to leave to watch a basketball game) but when we left it was anyone’s game – they were all so delicious! It was a great way to spend the day – I’m hoping they’ll do something similar very soon!
What a fun idea! I’m a big grilled cheese fan, so this sounds like heaven to me!
