This summer was all about the outdoors – which explains my absence from behind the computer. We ate on our patio as much as we could, went to every street festival we heard about, and soaked up as many rays of sunshine as our skin could hold. The little time we did spend inside was focused to decorating our apartment. The building is 100 years old and we love it. It’s still a work in progress, but with such amazing weather summer has been our first priority. It’s already winding down and the air seems to be cooling off (unless I’m completely hallucinating that, which I don’t think I am). I’m making a slow re-entry back into the blogging world, finding a delicate balance between posting and spending as much time as I can outside before fall truly comes to Chicago.
