Down on the Farm

{ view from the farm house }

My time at home for Thanksgiving was nothing short of lovely. I spent a couple of days at our farm with 28 family members, catching up with those who I sadly don’t get to see more than once a year. It’s amazing how much my young cousins have grown up – this year there were two teenagers in the group, which made me feel old. One of my five-year-old cousins insisted on calling me “ma’am.” (I’m all for good manners, but I’m also only 25). I spent the rest of my free time with my friends, which was capped off with a girls’ dinner on Saturday night where one of my best friends had a very special announcement – and another announced she was engaged the next morning! It seems good changes are in store all around and I’m thankful for all of them.

How was your Thanksgiving?
